Window Blinds · View & privacy in one

Zebra Blinds

Zebra blinds have two layers of fabric with alternating sheer and solid stripes. Line the sheer stripes up and daylight pours through; slide them apart and the solid stripes close for privacy — all without raising the blind. A modern, practical choice for living rooms, bedrooms and offices.

Why Choose It

Why choose Zebra Blinds

Alternating sheer and solid stripes slide past each other, so you can switch between view and privacy without raising the blind.

View and privacy in one

Line up the sheer stripes to see out; offset them for privacy. No need to raise the blind.

Fine control over light

Move the stripes a little at a time to get exactly the brightness you want, at any hour of the day.

Plenty of shades

Plain and textured fabrics in many colours, to match your walls, floors and furniture.

Chain or motorized

A smooth chain, or a motor you control with a remote, an app or a voice assistant.

Good To Know

Before you choose

  • Zebra blinds are not fully blackout — some light always passes between and around the stripes. For a completely dark bedroom, a blackout roller blind or blackout curtains work better.
  • At night, with lights on inside, light-filtering fabrics can show shadows from outside. Choose a denser fabric where night-time privacy matters.
  • To open the window fully, the blind rolls up at the top like a roller blind.

They suit people who like soft, adjustable light. Because some light passes between the stripes, anyone who needs a fully dark room usually pairs them with blackout curtains or chooses a blackout roller blind instead.

Yes. A motor fits inside the top tube, so you can open, close and adjust the stripes with a remote, an app or a voice assistant such as Alexa or Google Assistant.
